Position Summary The Team Agilist ensures that a single Agile Team operates effectively, continuously improves, and delivers high-quality outcomes aligned with product objectives . Serving as a servant leader and coach, this role facilitates team cadences, strengthens Agile practices, removes impediments, and helps the team build maturity, predictability, and adaptability. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Agile partners to foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning while supporting the team’s progression toward high performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Coach, Service Delivery Manager, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding Agile Teams through all stages of transformation, from formation to high performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and associated product, process, and technical practices.
  • Experience working within a multi-team , product centric environment.
  • Proven facilitation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to coach team members, stakeholders, and leaders on Agile principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile metrics, Inspect & Adapt techniques, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in product development environments (new product introduction and sustaining).
  • Experience mentoring others and openness to being mentored.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or other fast p aced technology environments.
  • Exposure DevOps practices and modern engineering approaches.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI ACP.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate team sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach the team in Lean and Agile product management and Agile technical practices to drive sustainable and predictable delivery.
  • Ensure all work meets the team’s Definition of Ready ( DoR ) and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Partner with the Product Owner to improve backlog grooming and prioritization practices.
  • Collaborate with the Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager to enhance Agile technical practices.
  • Work with the Product Agilist to align team practices with organizational standards and frameworks.
  • Help the team identify and resolve impediments, escalating systemic issues as needed.
  • Guide the team in effective risk management, including mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase team maturity and agility.
  • Maintain transparency of progress, risks, and impediments through clear communication and metrics.
  • Foster a collaborative, feedback driven culture focused on learning and innovation.
  • E ngage in communities of practice—contributing, learning, mentoring, and mentoring .
