About The Position
CMCH is a warm, community-centered Jewish Montessori preschool serving children 18 months through Kindergarten. We pride ourselves on creating a joyful, nurturing environment where children and teachers thrive. We value collaboration, creativity, and curiosity, and we support our team every step of the way. A kind, dependable, professional, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support one of our toddler classrooms (ages 2 - 3 years old). We’re looking for someone who loves working with young children, communicates well with others, and is excited to be part of a supportive team long-term.
Requirements
- Must be 18+
- Prior experience in early childhood education (3+ years preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain—covered by us)
- Able to pass a GA DECAL background check
- Willingness to complete annual training hours (provided)
- Please be prepared to reliably commute or relocate to Atlanta, GA 30342
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Bright From the Start or Quality Rated program as a Teaching Assistant
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification

Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher with daily routines and classroom activities
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Greet children warmly each day and promote a positive, loving environment
- Attend staff meetings and participate in teacher workdays
- Follow Bright From the Start and Quality Rated guidelines
