About The Position
Sacred Heart Schools is seeking a Teaching Assistant whose chief responsibility will be to work within the scope of the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education to assist Lead Teachers in primary school classrooms (grades PK-SK).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Some experience with elementary-aged children preferred
Responsibilities
- Daily student routines
- Instruction
- Classroom preparation
- Student supervision
- Classroom management
- Other activities as needed
- Supporting peer interactions
- Open communication with teachers
- Professional and nurturing interactions with students and parents
- Working as an active member of the grade level team to which they are assigned
