About The Position

The Department of Modern Languages and Literature at California Baptist University invites applications for part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) positions. TAs will support faculty with “Enriched” composition classes (ENG113E and ENG123E) in various ways, such as: attendance, facilitating writing lab sections, and workshop related activities. Review of applications is conducted in an ongoing manner according to needs each semester.

Requirements

Must be a currently enrolled CBU student (graduate and undergraduates with junior or senior status), or a recently graduated student
must embrace the mission of California Baptist University, and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence as a Teaching Assistant through the integration of Christian Faith
Candidates should have strong written communication skills, including but not limited to grammar, punctuation, and documentation
Candidates must participate in training
