About The Position

The Department of Information Systems in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor. The expected start date is August 10, 2026. This position will serve as Teaching Assistant Professor and teach six, three-hour courses per academic year within Information Systems (programming, database, cloud infrastructure, and project management/development classes preferred, with a mix of face-to-face and online courses, as needed). The position reports to the Chair of the Department of Information Systems. This person should be interested in collaborating on course development and potentially assuming leadership roles within the Department of Information Systems. Regular on-campus availability, in-person teaching, and active contribution to the life of the department, including exhibiting respect and cooperation in shared academic and administrative tasks are essential duties.

Requirements

  • Completed PhD in Information Systems from an AACSB-accredited business school
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching courses in information systems, analytics, or related area

Responsibilities
