This renewable position begins with a three-year (or five-year contract if hired at the rank of a Teaching Associate Professor) contract and offers opportunities for promotion (Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor) and longer-term appointments, aligning with a clear teaching-focused career trajectory. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver engaging instruction in introductory service courses, incorporating effective teaching practices and technology-enhanced learning strategies. The successful candidate will teach six undergraduate courses across the academic year (two semesters). In addition to teaching, responsibilities for this position include academic advising and mentoring of undergraduate students majoring in Statistics and Analytics and taking Actuarial Science courses.
