About The Position

Summary: The Teaching Assistant (TA) for Computer Science includes attending all class meetings, taking attendance, and assisting the instructor with classroom duties and equipment, as well as helping students during labs and exercises. The TA will hold regular office hours to answer questions about homework and material, help grade assignments, help proctor exams, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must have completed CSC-208 and the class for which they are applying to TA with a grade of B or higher.
• This position is available only to enrolled American University students.

• Computer Science major preferred but not required.
