About The Position
Da Vinci is a multi-functional educational company that provides services designed to support the academic needs of its clients. The role of Teachers/Collaborators is to provide customized instruction for each student, meeting their individualized educational needs. Collaborators are hired on a contractual basis and may be required to travel to different locations. They will have the opportunity to attend multiple professional development trainings throughout the year, with a requirement to attend at least 1 elective Da Vinci training annually to supplement required training.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with IEP’s
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including preparing all educational plans and materials necessary for each lesson
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible, able to work under pressure and changing priorities
- Experienced in Google Programs
- Must be flexible and available to travel and move about the various schools and in various environments
- Able to meet deadlines
- Certified Teacher
- Degree in Education (or other related degrees)
Nice To Haves
- 1 Year Teaching Experience
- Experience with multi-sensory language, writing and comprehension programs
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily lesson plans customized for each student
- Weekly communication, unless there is an urgent issue, with the Director of Operations and/or Director of Academic Services and/or Silver Collaborator via email or in person (regarding student progress and any concerns)
- Quarterly Progress Reports
- Session Notes
- IEP quarterly progress reports for appropriate students
- Track and submit student attendance
- Attend CSE’s upon request
- Participate in staff development meetings
- AIMSWeb/Dibels Professional Development
- May assist Gold Collaborator with Staff Development and Training (clinic & district clients)
- Committed to lifelong learning and personal development
- Attend administrative staff meetings (as needed)
- Parent Conferences
- Must attend in person trainings and meetings when mandated
- Complete work from home accountability template
- Proficient in 1 program and trained in Da Vinci endorsed programs
- Student Assessment / Evaluations
