About The Position

Your Role: As a teacher at Active Learning Centers, you’ll have the opportunity to: Develop creative, engaging programs for students Use a variety of educational techniques, including storytelling, play Observe and support each child’s social development and self-esteem Foster interaction and collaboration among children Guide children’s artistic and practical skills through a thoughtfully crafted curriculum Provide routine care, including meals, snacks, diapering, and potty training Plan and supervise daily outdoor and gross motor play Communicate regularly with parents and deliver exceptional customer service Work collaboratively with fellow educators to maintain a clean and safe classroom environment Participate in monthly staff meetings About Active Learning Centers: At Active Learning Centers, we’re dedicated to creating an environment where children can learn, lead, and have fun! Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Clear background check
  • Proven experience as a teacher
  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills
  • Friendly, reliable, and even-tempered demeanor
  • A balance between creativity and practical problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year of childcare experience preferred
  • BSc/BA in Education or a related field (optional)
