We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Teacher’s Aide to support our classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Hourly rate: $18.00
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with young children preferred (daycare, preschool, or similar setting)
- Knowledge of early childhood development is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, patient, and attentive
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting
- Up-to-date immunizations and health clearance
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
- Support children with daily routines, including toileting, handwashing, and transitions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Help prepare materials and set up activities
- Promote positive behavior and social development
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding children’s needs
