About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated TOD/DHH to support students with hearing loss through individualized instruction, communication development, and collaboration to ensure academic success and independence.
Requirements
- Valid TOD/DHH certification/licensure
- Strong knowledge of IEPs and special education practices
- Familiarity with assistive hearing technology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hearing-impaired students preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse needs
- Support language development (ASL, spoken, total communication)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; track student progress
- Manage hearing devices (hearing aids, FM systems, cochlear implants)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and audiologists
- Conduct assessments to guide instruction and eligibility
