Teacher for the Upward Bound Program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus is a responsible for delivering effective learning instruction to high school students enrolled in the program. Teachers facilitate skill development and provide valuable academic support to students in achieving their educational goals. The tentative planned dates for the Summer Program of Upward Bound are June 8th – July 18th, 2026 Mandatory training for this position will be late in May 2026 for a ½ day. As part of the enriching experience offered by the Upward Bound Program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus, a trip to visit other colleges is organized during the sixth week of the program. This trip is designed to broaden participants' horizons, expose them to college campuses in an adjacent state, and provide hands-on learning opportunities that align with the program's educational objectives. During the sixth week of the Upward Bound Program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus, volunteer chaperones are invited to accompany the program to supervise the participants. Chaperones are responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and engagement of program participants during all activities. They maintain adherence to schedules, provide guidance during interactions and discussions, and respond effectively to any emergent situations. Chaperones serve as supervisors of participants and point of contact for crisis management and policy enforcement throughout the trip. The tentative dates for the final week trip are July 10th -18th 2024.
