The teacher will develop and implement a program of professional vocational educational services to students in the area of Food Service Production in order to meet their assessed individual vocational needs. This include teaching a total of six (6) class periods each day in the Institutional Food Service Production Program which may include, but is not limited to the following: Basic Foods 1 & 2, Food Service Math, Baking, Sanitation & Safety, and Internship. The teacher will complete, in a timely manner, all required documentation, student assessment/progress and other reporting requirements. The teacher will monitor and manage student behavior, attend staffings, meetings and serve on both school and institution committees as well as serving effectively as an interdisciplinary team member for a housing center. The teacher will, upon request, provide training to other staff, interns, etc. and engage in specialized instruction and special projects.
