About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior experience working with adolescents or in an educational setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructional guidance and classroom procedures
• Patience, professionalism, and a student-centered approach
• Ability to pass background checks and meet school district compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Help manage classroom behavior and ensure adherence to school policies
• Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and classroom resources
• Monitor students during class transitions, lunch periods, and other school activities
• Provide support to students with special educational needs as required
• Maintain accurate student records and uphold confidentiality at all times
• Assist with grading, filing, and clerical tasks as assigned
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
