About The Position

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking polished and guest-focused individuals to join our team as an Afternoon Tea Host & Room Service Attendant. This dual-role position supports both our renowned Afternoon Tea service and In-Room Dining operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong sense of hospitality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be available for Afternoon Tea shifts (11:45 AM – 4:30 PM) and/or Room Service shifts AM: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM PM: 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM Including weekends and holidays as needed
• Prior hospitality, hosting, or food & beverage experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and guest service skills
• Polished appearance and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous hosting, serving, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Warm, polished, and attentive in guest interactions
• Detail-oriented with a focus on presentation
• Adaptable and able to transition between roles
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Afternoon Tea Host
• Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and guest flow during Tea service
• Maintain knowledge of menus, offerings, and hotel amenities
• Ensure the Tea service area remains clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Room Service Attendant
• Prepare, deliver, and set up in-room dining orders accurately and professionally
• Ensure proper presentation of trays and carts
• Retrieve trays and maintain cleanliness of service areas
• Communicate guest requests clearly with kitchen and service teams
