About The Position

This professional will work closely with the team by working on a variety of projects including state tax audits and tax compliance. This role will also gain valuable experience working with government agencies, assisting with implementing new technology and processes, and learning about tax and treasury issues that a fortune 200 publicly company encounters. A successful candidate will be able work on a variety of tasks, work both independently and in a team environment, and have basic Microsoft office skills.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's degree program with preference in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or similar.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Keen understanding of Microsoft office products
  • Ability to learn new software programs such as Alteryx and Tableau
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill requests from state taxing authorities
  • Assist in creating audit ready workpapers and processes
  • Work with federal and state tax teams to complete annual tax filings
  • Assist with state and local income, franchise, and sales tax audits
  • Work with the TTRM Director of Operations and Technology to implement new technology solutions such as workflows utilizing Alteryx
