About The Position

As a member of our Global Trade team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing global trade strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging trade laws to optimize supply chain operations and drive cost savings, all while ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for determining correct customs valuation, managing transfer pricing and customs valuation policies, and overseeing remediation processes and corrective filings with customs and other authorities. Key responsibilities include providing export and import classifications, soliciting Free Trade Agreements, screening transactions for sanctioned parties, and identifying governmental agency requirements for global trade. As a Staff, you will use your experience and technical knowledge to bring value to clients and manage risks related to global trade matters. You will be a member of our Global Trade Managed Services team that assists our clients to move their freight both effectively and compliantly around the globe.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Relations or a related trade operations management field
  • Approximately 2 or more years of related work experience in a Fortune 500 company or a major importer or exporter or a professional services firm
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • An analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and robust critical thinking capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • A Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification

  • Develop, analyze, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), assemble detailed quarterly business review reports, and manage ad hoc data inquiries to drive informed business decisions.

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $62,600 to $103,400.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $75,100 to $117,500.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
