POSITION TITLE: Property Tax Specialist JOB STATUS: Full Time/Hourly DEPARTMENT: Property Tax and Insurance Tracking REPORTS TO: Property Tax and Insurance Tracking Team Lead TRAVEL REQUIRED: None WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid - 4 days in the office- 1 day remote after training. Pay: The expected hiring range for this position is from $42,420 to $49,905 plus additional bonus opportunity. The stated hiring range is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Final compensation decisions will take into account a variety of considerations, including individual skills, internal equity, and organizational needs. JOB SUMMARY The Property Tax Specialist position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of property tax payments, maintaining compliance with county-specific requirements, and supporting customer and vendor communications. This role involves retrieving and auditing tax bills, reconciling data from third-party platforms such as Cotality and AutoAgent, and managing loan sequences to ensure proper documentation and payment. The specialist also conducts research on property assessments, tax suits, levies, exemptions, and updates systems accordingly. Additional responsibilities include handling customer service requests, processing county-required forms, and supporting internal audits and account management. A strong understanding of tax regulations, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
