About The Position

We are seeking a Tax Senior with hands-on Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE experience to support our expanding Corporate and PCS tax practice in the San Jose area. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base—including high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, S‑corps, and C‑corps. You will work closely with managers and partners, review associate-level work, and help ensure timely and accurate delivery of tax engagements.

Requirements

  • Must have hands‑on experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
  • Active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience mentoring or training staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and consulting for high‑net‑worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and review Federal, State, and Local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Utilize Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE for tax preparation, data import, adjustments, and e‑filing.
  • Analyze complex tax issues and develop strategies to minimize tax liability.
  • Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Mentor and train tax associates; review their work and support their development.
  • Conduct tax research and stay current on emerging tax laws.
  • Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote-first operations, promoting paperless workflows through digital collaboration tools, participating in recycling initiatives to minimize paper use, and consistently demonstrate alignment with BPM’s values.
