Requirements

Strong organizational skills and the confidence to take initiative.
Great at connecting with people from all backgrounds.
Excellent at juggling priorities and staying on top of details.
Flexible and ready to work some evenings and Saturdays during tax season.
Clear, effective communicator - whether writing or speaking.
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and one to two years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

Bonus points for experience with diverse communities or bilingual skills!
Preferred: Experience with basic tax preparation.

Responsibilities

Keep Sites Running Smoothly: Oversee daily tax-site operations, schedules, and onsite support.
Lead and Support Volunteers: Recruit, supervise, and assist in training volunteers while keeping communication flowing.
Spread the Word: Promote free tax services through community partnerships and outreach.
Build Community Connections: Engage local groups to recruit volunteers and reach eligible taxpayers.
Champion Tax Credits: Share tax-credit information and attend community events to connect with taxpayers.
Organize Outreach Efforts: Coordinate with the team to plan tax-credit outreach across all counties.
Track the Details: Collect and report volunteer data, outreach activities, and maintain organized documentation.
