About The Position

Reid Accountants + Advisors is an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. We currently have offices in Long Island, NYC, White Plains South Carolina. Join a rapidly growing organization with a strategic vision and dynamic plan. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and adaptable Tax Processor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for processing tax returns, coordinating billing, and providing administrative support to the firm as directed by management. Key Objectives: · Provide administrative support to the firm as required by management and partners. · Process tax returns with heavy due dates in Mar/Apr and Sept/Oct, ensuring continuous processing throughout the year. · Answer incoming phone calls, assist in making and maintaining appointments, and respond to internal and external emails. · Retain documents through scanning, copying, and utilizing internal document retention resources. · Generate invoices in accordance with the Firm's billing policies. · Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards. · Communicate effectively with management and peers.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in all the firm's tax processing programs - experience with CCH Axcess.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong organization and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and flexibility.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Woodbury, NY 11797: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration.
