About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for accurately preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses. This role requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position has flexibility to be part time or full time or seasonal and is an in the office position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze financial information to prepare accurate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by staying up to date on changes in tax laws.
• Communicate with clients to gather additional information and address any tax-related questions.
• Identify tax deductions and credits to minimize clients' tax liability.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive financial data.
• Meet deadlines and prioritize workload effectively to deliver high-quality work.
