Requirements

5 years of relevant tax experience
2 years of reviewing tax returns
CPA, EA or CPA eligible
Excellent verbal and written communication
Good project management skills (ability to meet deadlines with agreed upon budget)
Professional attitude and ability to represent the firm brand
Team player that thrives in a collaborative environment
Ability to exercise professional humility
Give and receive constructive feedback

Nice To Haves

A good sense of humor is a plus!
Industry experience in one of the firm's specializations a plus! (Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services)

Responsibilities

Lead client audit, tax, and/or advisory engagements
Plan and execute audit, review, or tax engagements, including managing deadlines and budgets
Supervise staff while ensuring technical compliance and timely service of delivery
Coach teams, identifying risk and managing project budgets
Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact, managing expectations, and providing advice on accounting and business issues
Participate in special projects as necessary
Staff training and development -providing team leadership by mentoring, supervising and communicating feedback to senior and staff accountants
Support senior mgmt. in pitching for new business and expanding existing client relationships
