Requirements

Accounting degree or similar
CPA
6+ years of public accounting tax experience for mainly corporations & Partnerships; Individual tax experience is a big plus
Prior experience in managing and leading teams, demonstrating effective leadership abilities
Pass-thru experience (with S Corp and Partnerships) and account management
Proficient project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with 1031's exchanges, 754 step-up, special income allocation & M&A is preferred
Industry experience with real estate, retail, and construction is a plus

Responsibilities

Preparation/review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
Preparation/review of high-net-worth individual returns
Review of C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
Review of complex individual returns
Will research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
Identify tax planning opportunities
Handle and resolve tax controversies
Training and supervision of staff
