We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Methods, Credits & Incentives (MCI) – R&D Tax Credit practice. In this role, you will manage R&D tax credit projects, support client engagements, and provide practical tax solutions.

Requirements

• Active CPA or JD (Attorney license required)
• 6–10 years of experience in R&D tax credits (or Fixed Assets / Tax Methods)
• Minimum 4 years in public accounting or consulting
• Experience with tax return mechanics and amendments
• Strong understanding of federal and state R&D tax rules
• Prior project management experience
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver R&D tax credit projects
• Analyze financial data and prepare tax-related schedules and reports
• Research tax regulations and support compliance
• Work directly with clients, including site visits when required
• Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Support business development and proposal efforts
