About The Position

This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity within investor relations, focusing on tax credit equity funds and multi-investor financial products. The Senior Director will manage high-level investor relationships, oversee complex closings, and ensure seamless coordination across acquisitions, fund management, and legal teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in housing tax credit equity or similar investment environments.
  • Proven experience closing multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level investors and financial professionals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in negotiation, problem-solving, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative and accountable, with the ability to work independently while meeting team and organizational goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of LIHTC programs and familiarity with industry trends and investor requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with LIHTC investors, acting as the main point of contact for all fund-related matters.
  • Manage investment closings for multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds, coordinating internally and with external counsel.
  • Collaborate with Acquisitions and Fund Management teams on fund structuring, timelines, property lists, and CRA commitments, recommending process improvements where appropriate.
  • Oversee investor due diligence and closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams throughout due diligence and closing cycles, addressing investor inquiries efficiently.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and investor meetings, staying informed of market trends and fund performance.
  • Mentor and guide team members in executing investor relations activities and provide leadership during complex transactions.
