The Tax team in New York City is hiring a Tax Coordinator to join their dynamic group of tax professionals. The ideal candidate is a confident and professional communicator, with exceptional time management and organizational skills. They are interpersonal and believe in developing and maintaining a professional relationship with colleagues.

Requirements

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Self-motivated with excellent organization skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed
• High School diploma required
• 3 plus years in office administrative experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble and file tax returns, forms, and related tax payments.
• Process tax organizers and roll over annual CCH Axcess tax returns.
• Distribute department client mail.
• Work overtime hours as needed.
• Monitor department due dates.
• Maintain department WIPs.
• Executive Assistant to Tax Partner/Senior Tax Management
• Process client onboarding and exits.
• Coordinate tax season meals.
• Track miscellaneous deadlines.
• Coordinate client signature requests with other departments.
• Process POAs.
• Request IRS and State transcripts.
• Other related duties as assigned.
