We are excited to announce our search for a full-time, temporary, Tax Coordinator ! This role contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by ensuring payroll related taxes are withheld and paid to the appropriate agency on a timely basis. Determines all applicable payroll related taxes and enters appropriate tax codes to ensure proper employee onboarding setup. Researches notifications of social security number mismatches and takes action to notify the corresponding agencies and internal departments to resolve as appropriate. Prepares and files taxes for weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual returns. Runs the tax reconciliation report to review tax errors and fix accordingly. Assists reconciliation of W-2 process at year-end by cross testing wages and taxes withheld. Responds to miscellaneous client requests and supports the Payroll Department regarding various tax issues. Registers clients in individual states for tax reporting. Validates webmaster reports between systems. Validates yearly SUI rate changes, notifies underwriting, calculates back-bill for SUI rate changes, and updates systems with account numbers and rates after verification from the state. Files amendments with the state for SIT and SUI adjustments.
