Summer 2026 Internship Snapshot The Internship Program is a full-time (40 hours) opportunity that runs May 20 through August 14 In addition to your projects and tasks, New Era Interns will experience: Networking Opportunities Professional Development (i.e., workshops and learning sessions for résumé building and personal branding, job searching, public speaking, etc.) Community Service Day Team Building Day End-of-Internship Showcase to recognize your contributions and achievements The Opportunity at Hand The role of the Tax and Accounting Intern is an integral member of the Finance Team adding value through assisting with monthly tax and close responsibilities as well as Kyriba cash accounting projects.

Requirements

Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
Meticulous attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
Strong public speaking, group presentation, interpersonal and persuasion skills required
Ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances by being flexible and execute accordingly
Ability to innovate and enhance existing solutions
Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in accounting or a related field

Nice To Haves

SAP or Sage Fixed Assets experience a plus but not required
Future CPA aspirations are a plus

Responsibilities

Analyze cash accounts and assist with daily cash management
Collaborate with Treasury team and Kyriba software for daily cash management
Assist in completing monthly/bimonthly non-US indirect tax returns for Canada
Post monthly tax journal entries and attachments in SAP
Prepare & send monthly Transfer Pricing invoices to regions and post monthly journal entries
Assist with fixed asset additions, disposals and rollforward reconciliations
Participate in month end close tasks
Assist with compiling requests for quarterly reviews and interim audits
Keep all sensitive matters confidential
Other projects as assigned
