About The Position

Guggenheim Partners is seeking a junior tax professional to join its corporate tax team. This position will be responsible for all aspects of federal tax compliance for the Company’s operating partnerships, c-corporations, and holding company. The role also includes responsibilities around tax planning and assisting with the execution of the Company’s long-term tax strategies. The Tax Analyst/Associate will report to a Tax Manager and will be based in the Chicago office; currently this position is fully remote. Requirements

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, including partnership tax compliance
  • Proficient in Excel

  • ASC 740 experience

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of federal tax return compliance requirements for the firm’s partnership and corporate entities
  • Preparation of quarterly taxable income estimates
  • Maintain standardized work paper and tax return organizational system
  • Manage 3rd party service provider timing and review of their work product
  • Work on special projects related to complex research issues
  • Remain current on legislative development and tax planning opportunities
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for Tax Department compliance related processes
