The MISS program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting the US Department of State’s operations in Iraq. In addition to providing ongoing base operations and Life Support Services, KBR will provide differentiated advisory and consultancy capabilities to the Iraqi Government with a focus on creating an effective program environment to support delivery of strategic economic planning, strategy development, feasibility studies, technical reviews and large-scale project management. Under this contract KBR will provide facility maintenance, procurement, critical supply functions, along with foodservice, base camp operations, renovations, construction, and medical services. The Task Order Fuel Manager will serve as the senior manager for the bulk and retail fuel storage facilities, fuel procurement, fuel analysis, and distribution at the Chief of Mission sites. The Task Order Fuel Manager shall have experience in bulk fuel storage and distribution systems/facilities, mobile and direct fuel servicing equipment (aviation and ground), quality surveillance, inventory, accounting, and administration. Practical experience in the basic design and layout of petroleum facilities, component makeup and flow characteristics of storage piping systems, and the ability to read and understand basic drawings, blueprints, and system specifications is also required.
