About The Position

This position will be responsible for managing international trade and tariffs related to the business line. The role involves preparing and consolidating financial statements, ensuring accounting and reconciliations related to tariffs are accurate for reporting purposes, and leading monthly close processes.

Requirements

Accounting and reconciliation expertise.
Experience with month-end processes and financial statement preparation.
Knowledge of international trade and finance, specifically tariffs.
Strong skills in SAP and Excel.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
7+ years of accounting experience.
Ability to work independently and strong critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing environment or logistics.
Exposure to international trade, customs, or tariffs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and consolidate financial statements.
Ensure accounting and reconciliations related to tariffs are accurate for reporting.
Lead monthly close processes, including journal entries.
Utilize SAP and Excel for financial tasks.
Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
Work cross-functionally with logistics and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy.
Support international trade-related accounting processes, including tariffs, duty tracking, and brokerage cost analysis.
Bridge the gap between accounting and logistics.
Research accounting standards and regulatory changes impacting financial reporting.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, especially around financial data accuracy and reporting.
