Noise levels on production floor require hearing protection, temperature fluctuates dependent on season. Working around powered industrial vehicles. Production floor can become slippery with oil. As a Tapping Operator you'll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN. You'll get to: Starts machine and observes operation, making adjustments as needed. Gauging and checking parts for each catch pan, for conformance to specifications. Record and plot on SPC charts Record production on daily sheet Operate PIV and electric pallet jack to move tubs and load machines Must be able to work overtime Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Mathematical ability and practical application of percentages and ratios
- Ability to read and write, effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand written, verbal or diagrammatical form of instructions
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull and reach.
- Ability to lift and/or carry 5-25 pounds regularly and occasionally 25-65 pounds with assistance.
Responsibilities
- Starts machine and observes operation, making adjustments as needed.
