About The Position

The TAP Lawn-care Administrative Clerk provides administrative support for the township’s Home Assistance Program (TAP) Lawn-care services. This role involves processing service requests, maintaining records, coordinating with staff and vendors, and ensuring efficient communication between the department and residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems, demonstrating strong computer skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review information, identify discrepancies, and support reporting and program operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively respond to resident inquiries with professionalism, courtesy, and empathy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process lawn-care service applications from residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, schedules, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely lawn-care service delivery.
  • Assist in preparing reports, invoices, and documentation for program oversight.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and provide information regarding eligibility and services.
  • Ensure compliance with township policies and procedures related to lawn-care services.
