PEMEX Deer Park is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX, and is a part of the PEMEX group which is a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain: exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics and marketing. Job Summary: The Tank Project Field Coordinator drives field work for an assigned area during Tank Project execution to ensure activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable premises, work processes, and standards. Roles include interface management with all PEMEX Deer Park disciplines and providing direction and leadership to crafts including contractors. The incumbent works closely with Contractors, Operations, Project and Discipline Groups to deliver/execute the tank project per the agreed plan, scope, budget and schedule Accountabilities & Responsibilities: quality – material, flange tightness, completion status. Works the agreed tank project plan/schedule and escalates to tank maintenance supervisor when they cannot be achieved. Responsible for schedule update/report of progress of work activities and for all aspects of quality – material, flange tightness, completion status. Validation of work completion and material receipt for tank projects Ensures crafts and contractors are highly productive by removal of barriers Responsible for timesheet authorization for assigned contractors. Responsible for cost management within approved budget and accurate monthly forecasts Lead daily project meetings and work closely with Contractor, Shell Operations, Projects and Engineering Discipline Groups to deliver the project. Participates in Lessons Learned and Look back process. Qualifications: A leader with proven skills in managing crafts, project management, written and verbal communication skills and in coordinating field activity execution, preferably maintenance related activities. The Tank Project Field Coordinators shall have sufficient understanding of various technical disciplines as well as ownership of project execution per the approved scope of work. The coordinator must also have a thorough understanding of the commercial requirements for contractor work execution and have the ability to validate the project estimate versus actual work completed
