About The Position

Position Summary: In partnership with TA/HR Leadership, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will implement recruitment strategies that provide a best-in-class candidate experience, providing full cycle support from the initial sourcing/application phase through offer. The TAS will partner with hiring managers to evaluate skill levels, drive interview best practices, negotiate competitive offers, document selection activity, and disposition all candidates. Establishing stakeholder partnerships deeply rooted in trust and collaboration is essential. The TAS will proactively develop and mine talent pipelines to produce a slate of high-quality candidates by utilizing enhanced social media sourcing techniques, networking, prescreening, and interviewing. The TAS will serve as a subject matter expert by developing a strong foundation related to BILH business operations and workforce market data, providing insight to leadership and stakeholders to improve performance to meet/exceed goals. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of recruitment or relevant experience: experience in high volume recruitment preferred.
  • Prior experience using applicant-tracking systems.
  • Workday experience highly preferred.
  • General knowledge of current employment laws and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Recruitment Process: Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise of assigned functional areas to implement best-in-class recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
  • Advise hiring managers and stakeholders on matters related to candidate screening and selection.
  • Prepare and negotiate job offers.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing tools/methods to identify passive and active candidates, including ATS searches, social media platforms, networking, direct outreach, and attending recruitment events.
  • Foster a culture of community while taking purposeful steps to recruit a skilled workforce.
  • Collaborate with TA Leaders on researching and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct applicant screens, in-depth interviews, assessments, and evaluations to determine a match for qualifications.
  • Consult with and provide candidate recommendations to hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a talent advocate that supports and promotes an environment of culture and WE CARE values.
  • Market Knowledge: Identify candidate and market trends to fine-tune overall competitive strategies for sourcing and hiring talent.
  • Vacancy Management: Ensure vacancy management is properly maintained for reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure talent acquisition strategies, including job posting information relevant to local business needs/goals.
  • Provide guidance related to BILH hiring practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Relationship Management: Through strong written and oral communication, establish and maintain effective partnerships with hiring managers and cross-collaborative leaders.
  • Liaise with BILH HR colleagues and HR Centers of Excellence, as needed, to support talent acquisition activities and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential talent to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Serve as a talent advisor to internal talent to support and encourage staff development.
  • Decision Making: Able to make decisions guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation; Make recommendations for solving problems of moderate complexity and importance.
  • Problem Solving: Able to address varied problems requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge, and skills based on general precedents; Escalation to leadership, as needed.
  • Uphold Recruitment Standards and BILH TA Service Level Agreement: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of recruitment activities for designated client areas.
  • Respond to hiring managers in a proactive and timely manner, educating managers on the hiring process and recommending process improvements to TA leadership, as needed.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulations and BILH hiring policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines.
  • Ensure all new hire activity is documented in the ATS accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Continuing Education: Participate in self-guided or instructor-led training to support ongoing education and training and personal/professional development.
  • Hiring Events: Represent BILH and assigned BILH entity at job fairs (virtual and in person), open houses, and college recruiting events.
  • Track and report on key recruitment event metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, including ROI.
