About The Position

The Mahoney Group, founded in 1915, is a premier insurance agency of approximately 250 employees headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. We’re searching for a dynamic, relationship-driven Talent Partner. In this role, you’ll attract, hire, retain, and engage top-tier talent who will fuel our next stage of growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition is required.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and verbal/written communication skills.
  • A proactive, consultative approach - you have an educated vision for what talent is needed and make it happen.
  • Tech-savvy with Dayforce or other HRIS recruiting module knowledge.
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous process improvement.
  • Highly organized utility player with the ability to autonomously manage a workload and effectively prioritize in a fast-changing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in insurance, financial services, sales, or professional services is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Active HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the agency’s full talent lifecycle with a data-driven, continuous improvement lens.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to leadership through your knowledge of the insurance industry, alignment of talent initiatives to business goals, and the identification of talent needs.
  • Source, recruit, pre-screen, interview, and recommend high-quality candidates to leadership for sales, service, and support roles across 20+ states.
  • Build and manage a strong talent pipeline using your creative sourcing strategies and relationship-building skills.
  • Develop a standout, candidate experience from the first point of contact through onboarding, serving as an advocate for candidates chosen to move forward in the process.
  • Create and implement engaging employer branding and recruitment marketing to promote the agency’s employee value proposition to candidates.
  • Track performance metrics and implement necessary adjustments to talent processes.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll as a back-up during colleague vacations and other out of office time periods.
  • Drive people and culture activities to completion in compensation, benefits, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and other areas as needed.
