About The Position

Are you ready to work at a fast-growing company where you can make a difference? Boomi aims to make the world a better place by connecting everyone to everything, anywhere. Our award-winning, intelligent integration and automation platform helps organizations power the future of business. At Boomi, you’ll work with world-class people and industry-leading technology. We hire trailblazers with an entrepreneurial spirit who can solve challenging problems, make a real impact, and want to be part of building something big. If this sounds like a good fit for you, check out boomi.com or visit our Boomi Careers page to learn more. At Boomi, we don’t just talk about integration and automation; we live it. As we continue to scale globally, we’re hiring our first-ever dedicated Talent Operations leader to design, run, and continuously evolve the engine behind how we hire. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, process, and execution, and enjoys turning ambiguity into action. You’ll own our recruiting operations foundation—our ATS, workflows, data integrity, and tooling—while also acting as the program manager who keeps Talent Acquisition’s strategic initiatives moving from idea to reality. You won’t just keep the lights on. You’ll build what comes next. This is a hybrid role based in our Vancouver office, with in-office days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is a foundational hire. You’ll shape how Talent Acquisition operates at Boomi for years to come, building systems and programs that enable our recruiters, elevate the candidate experience, and turn strategy into sustained execution. If you love being the person who connects dots, creates order, and makes things actually work, this role was built for you.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Talent Operations, Recruiting Operations, HR Systems, or related roles
  • Proven experience leading ATS implementations or major global system migrations in complex, multi-region environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as both a hands-on systems and process owner, and a program manager, driving cross-functional initiatives forward
  • Strong technical curiosity; you explore new features, tools, and AI capabilities to understand how they can meaningfully improve outcomes
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or meaningfully piloting an AI agent, automation, or LLM-powered solution to support recruiting, HR Operations, or people analytics
  • A disciplined, scalable approach to process design that avoids unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through. You bring structure, clarity, and momentum to ambiguous work
  • Experience working with project management tools
  • A collaborative, approachable style. You make complex change feel manageable

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end operating model for recruiting operations, balancing scalability, usability, and data integrity across regions
  • Serve as the architect and owner of our recruiting tech stack, with the ATS at the center—designing workflows, integrations, and system configurations that scale globally
  • Lead end-to-end system implementations and major upgrades, including global rollouts, data migration, testing, and change management
  • Ensure clean, reliable data at the source through thoughtful process design, automation, and governance
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI, automation, and emerging recruiting technologies that reduce manual effort and improve recruiter and candidate experience
  • Own process documentation, enablement, and training—ensuring recruiters and hiring partners are confident, capable, and actually using what’s been built
  • Manage TA vendors end-to-end: discovery, implementation, optimization, renewals, and ROI tracking
  • Act as the program manager for Talent Acquisition’s strategic initiatives, turning our “plan on a page” into executable, measurable work
  • Own project planning and execution for global initiatives such as DEI-focused hiring programs, candidate experience improvements, employer branding and talent marketing initiatives, referral programs, and process enhancements
  • Define milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics, keeping leaders informed and initiatives on track
  • Partner with TA leadership to operationalize strategy through systems, processes, and tooling
  • Lead global change management: rollout planning, communications, training, feedback loops, and iteration
  • Use data and insights to tell the story of progress, identify friction points, and recommend course correction
