About The Position

Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. is recruiting for a Talent Director, Enterprise Functions, based in New Brunswick, NJ. Role Purpose: Drive an enterprise‑wide talent strategy that builds a strong, diverse, and future‑ready pipeline of executive leaders across J&J Enterprise Functions—including Finance & Global Services, Technology, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, and Technical Operations & Risk. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR partners to ensure succession strength, accelerate leader readiness, and elevate the quality of executive talent decisions. The role will report to the Senior Talent Director, Enterprise Functions. They will partner closely with HR Business Partners within Enterprise Functions and Global Talent Management teams.

Requirements

  • Education: a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related area of focus
  • Required Years of Related Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience in Human Resources and talent management, leadership development or organizational development
  • Must be experienced in coaching senior leaders and assessing talent

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute a data‑driven talent strategy that strengthens succession for the most critical roles
  • Lead end‑to‑end succession processes, including executive assessment, external talent intelligence, talent movement, and retention strategies; coach HR partners on enterprise succession process and ensure relevant submissions for senior leadership talent reviews
  • Partner with Executive Leaders and BUHR to identify high‑potential talent and deploy targeted development plans and experiences that advance readiness for future roles
  • Facilitate and elevate talent review discussions for critical roles, ensuring clarity of potential, readiness, and action plans
  • Own descriptive analytics for Enterprise Functions’ talent pools and partner with People Analytics and Talent Intelligence to translate predictive insights into actionable talent strategies
  • Continuously scan external trends and innovative talent management practices to influence Enterprise Functions’ talent agenda
  • Establish strong credibility to be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and BUHR on making talent decisions
  • Apply assessment insights to coach and develop pipeline talent through custom individual development plans focused on future role readiness. Partner with the BUHR and business leaders to facilitate development plan progress
  • Partner closely with the Sector/Function Talent Directors to identify opportunities for cross sector/cross region experiences to further build the pipeline
