Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of learning and development experience and at least three years of project management experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Consults on and manages new learning and development techniques and programs.
  • Suggests enhancements to existing learning and development programs, ensuring the scope aligns with business priorities.
  • Coordinates timelines, resources, and decisions to successfully deliver program goals.
  • Oversees relationships with vendors to ensure crew participation in outside learning and development programs, and to confirm the return on investment with various vendors and offerings.
  • Defines metrics to measure success of vendor relationships and proactively identifies areas of improvement.
  • Executes on strategic business plans for the learning and development team to support the achievement of corporate objectives and drive outcomes that are aligned with overarching divisional strategic priorities.
  • Tracks progress against key milestones and adjusts plans as needed to maintain momentum and impact.
  • Delivers on the design and development of learning plans, materials, and modules to support the development of all crew at Vanguard.
  • Ensures the development and implementation of all learning and development programs are aligned with Vanguard's primary goals and talent strategies.
  • Measures learning and development programs and results.
  • Maintains relationships across program stakeholders and proactively fosters effective communication between internal and external parties.
  • Drives key decisions to ensure alignment with overarching goals across stakeholders.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
