About The Position

Oatridge Security Group (OSG) is looking for a hands-on Talent Development Manager in Tacoma to help us build great teams, deliver consistent training, and ensure high-quality service across our job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, coaching employees, partnering with operations, and supporting strong, fair people practices. Candidates must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug test. Candidates should be well groomed, articulate, dependable, and a team player. OSG has over 20 years' experience providing top of the line security services to the commercial sector and U.S government, operating throughout Washington and Oregon. Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred)
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Washington State Security Guard license (we can help with that!)
  • At least 2 years of experience in security, operations, or training coordination
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language fluently
  • Excellent customer service skills in phone and face to face conversation, with excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Comfort working across job sites and with diverse teams
  • Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive matters
  • Organized, adaptable, and hands-on

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead new hire orientation and ongoing training programs
  • Develop and maintain post orders, training materials, and operational documentation
  • Conduct weekly job site quality inspections and meet with clients
  • Support new site launches from setup through day-one readiness
  • Train officers and supervisors and facilitate leadership development
  • Partner with recruiting on hiring, interviews, and onboarding
  • Assist HR with employee relations and disciplinary processes
  • Help ensure consistent standards, compliance, and professionalism
