About The Position

The Global Program Design & Delivery Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise talent development programs. The individual will be accountable for translating business needs and identifying future human capital capability requirements into scalable, high-impact development solutions that strengthen leadership capability, accelerate performance, and support long-term value creation. This role will work closely with the Head of Learning Advisory & Program Development and will have strategic program ownership. The role will require deep program architecture capabilities, hands-on execution skills, and experience establishing credibility with key stakeholders. The role will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and functional stakeholders across regions and lines of business to design enterprise programs that are rigorous, data-informed, and aligned to business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Talent Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, or related fields within complex, global organizations
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering enterprise-wide development programs at scale
  • Deep expertise in adult learning principles, leadership development, and program design
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, owning work end-to-end
  • Strong facilitation experience with leaders and high-impact audiences
  • Experience partnering with a variety of senior stakeholders and seniorities to influence outcomes in matrixed environments
  • Track record of leading large, ambiguous initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage, challenge, and influence senior leaders
  • Strong commercial mindset paired with operational discipline
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and facilitation skills
  • Highly analytical and data-informed, with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable building from the ground up
  • High standards for quality, rigor, and impact
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive the global enterprise talent development program portfolio, from needs assessment through design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a thought partner and trusted advisor to HRBPs, HR team members and Talent Advisors on a variety of Talent Development topics such as management development, leadership capability building, and professional growth and development.
  • Build scalable frameworks, learning architectures, and delivery models that can operate effectively across geographies, cultures, and business lines
  • Make build vs. buy determinations as it relates to content creation and delivery; assess and identify preferred vendors to assist with program design and delivery
  • Personally lead the design and facilitation of identified programs
  • Design and continuously evolve the firm’s global talent development program strategy in alignment with business priorities and growth plans
  • Establish program frameworks, curricula, and standards that ensure consistency, quality, and measurable impact across regions
  • Identify enterprise-wide capability gaps and translate them into structured, multi-year development roadmaps
  • When designing programs, embed Ares CREST values and appropriately incorporate Ares approach to broader talent and other organizational processes
  • Lead the end-to-end design and execution of enterprise talent development programs including: First-time manager and manager excellence programs Targeted development interventions aligned to employees at specific levels Personally facilitate and deliver high-impact sessions for identified audiences as required
  • Design blended learning solutions leveraging instructor-led, virtual, experiential, and self-directed learning modalities
  • Partner with external vendors and faculty where appropriate, while maintaining internal ownership of program quality and outcomes
  • Own the strategy and governance for self-directed and on-demand learning platforms
  • Curate, design, and market learning pathways aligned to critical capabilities and career stages
  • Oversee firmwide mandatory training to ensure compliance, consistency, and efficiency
  • Define standards for learning content quality, relevance, and learner experience
  • Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness and business impact
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and continuously improve offerings
  • Benchmark against external best practices and evolving market standards
  • Regularly present insights, outcomes, and recommendations to HR and business leadership
