About The Position

As a Talent Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying skill gaps, designing and delivering engaging training programs, and coordinating career development initiatives to support internal mobility and teamwork. Key duties include managing web-based learning platforms, ensuring compliance with mandatory training, assisting with the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process, tracking program effectiveness, and managing the training budget. The role aims to align training with Credit Union goals for member service and sales excellence, while staying current on industry trends to facilitate organizational change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Adult Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year in talent development or corporate training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experienced with LMS or multimedia training platforms.
  • Exceptional presentation, writing, and verbal skills.
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Identify skill gaps through surveys, interviews, and performance data to align training with Credit Union goals for member service and sales excellence.
  • Create and facilitate engaging, multimedia-rich training programs.
  • Incorporate innovative methods to ensure high retention and practical application of skills.
  • Coordinate career development and cross-training initiatives to support internal mobility, teamwork, and a deep understanding of our mission.
  • Manage the BAI third-party web-based platform (assigning/tracking annual compliance).
  • Maintain the SilverCloud employee knowledge base to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Ensure 100% completion of mandatory annual training and provide detailed documentation for internal and external auditors.
  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting roles, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and executing the onboarding experience.
  • Track program effectiveness via feedback loops.
  • Manage the training budget.
  • Stay current on industry trends to lead the Credit Union through change.
