About The Position

The Talent Coordinator (Early Career) role is a resource with the primary responsibility of helping Hylant provide a cohesive employee experience to our early career talent. This role will help track and/or communicate to participants and colleagues various aspects of onboarding, coordinated events for this demographic, individual development plans and other related activities. The position works closely with current and prospective employees, as well as various teams within Hylant.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Interest in human resources and willingness to gain knowledge in one or more areas of HR.
  • Previous administrative experience in HR preferred.
  • Energy to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to juggle tasks and take initiative.
  • Has strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates strong Hylant culture values and positive attitude when faced with challenges.
  • Enjoys helping others by connecting the dots.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, and computer operations.
  • Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
  • Must be able to work in the Toledo Office.
  • Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Provides communication and support for Early Career experiences and event planning at the direction of the Talent Manager and in collaboration with the Talent Attraction team, Learning team and business leaders/managers.
  • Creates and supports the onboarding plans for all Hylant Early Career employees (those with 3 years or less)
  • Helps document individual development plans as needed in collaboration with the Talent Manager and people managers.
  • Maintains/enters confidential employee information within talent systems involving offer letters, onboarding, employee changes, talent reviews, development items, offboarding, etc
  • Keeps the fingers on the pulse of all talent related processes for the early career demographic by providing regular status updates via talent systems (HRIS, LMS) and use of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Provides additional support for other talent-related initiatives or projects as needed.
