About The Position

As a Talent Acquisition professional at our studio, you will be the driving force behind building world-class creative teams. This role focuses on developing proactive sourcing strategies, managing a seamless candidate experience from first contact to hire, and serving as a champion for our unique studio culture. With 2+ years of experience and a deep understanding of the animation and VFX landscape, you will play a critical role in connecting top-tier talent with industry-leading projects.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of professional experience as a Talent Acquisition.
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment.
  • Collaborative and open to working with our hiring managers and other staff members throughout the studio.
  • Active listening, with confidence in speaking to people of varied experience levels and backgrounds.
  • Proficient with Google Suites or related software.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with sourcing diverse talent of all levels from entry-level to senior-level a plus.
  • Understanding of Animation / VFX / Games roles is a plus.
  • Experience with Slack, Shotgrid, Productive, or Jira/Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with studio leadership and hiring managers to align expectations for hiring needs.
  • Develop project-based sourcing strategies to attract top animation talent via social platforms (LinkedIn, Vimeo, etc.) and creative outreach.
  • Foster long-term relationships with prospective candidates and alumni to maintain a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Create job descriptions, develop interview questions, review applications, and facilitate interviews for a seamless candidate experience.
  • Maintain the animation talent database and applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate records and productive use of software tools.
  • Assist hiring managers in reviewing applications and shortlisting candidates using the ATS.
  • Advocate for internal talent equity goals and ensure candidates align with the studio’s unique culture and values.
  • Partner with the Talent and Culture team to refine compensation, employment types, and assignment terms.
  • Upon request, attend hiring events and job fairs to promote the studio and connect with potential candidates.
  • Stay informed of industry trends to keep recruitment strategies competitive.
