Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience OR 6+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition; proficiency in end-to-end recruitment processes, proficiency in applicant tracking software, understanding of employment law, EEO, and ADA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practices and trends, and the labor market.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships and network.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics to improve recruitment efforts.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate offers, compensation packages, and hiring terms with candidates while aligning decisions to organizational guidelines.
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end recruitment
  • Partners with HR and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and goals.
  • Facilitates the full hiring process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring recommendations, and onboarding.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen and optimize recruitment processes
  • Creates and delivers training and tools on the hiring process, interviewing best practices, and other topics related to hiring top talent.
  • Build and Maintain a Talent Pipeline
  • Builds and maintains strong and positive relationships with potential candidates, passive talent, external partners, schools, and recruitment platforms to ensure talent readiness.
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in the agriculture industry.
  • Analyzes recruitment data; creates and maintains reports to measure the effectiveness of recruitment activities.
  • Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Protect and Strengthen the Employer Brand
  • Assists in the development of employer brand strategy for recruitment.
  • Incorporates employer brand in recruitment processes, onboarding program, and recruitment platforms, i.e. career page, recruiting sites, social media, etc.
  • Delivers an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Delivers a new employee onboarding process designed to engage and educate employees joining the organization.
  • Internship Program
  • Coordinates all aspects of the Summer Internship Program; develops the schedule of events, coordinates, and facilitates orientation for managers/mentors and interns
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify, interview, and select interns for the program.
  • Serves as a key contact for interns throughout the program
  • Identifies, analyzes, and maintains metrics to measure program effectiveness.
