The Talent Acquisition Specialist handles recruitment for the organization as directed by the Director of Human Resources, including interviewing applicants, answering questions concerning job requirements and company policies, screening applicants, rejecting hires, and referring qualified applicants to department managers for further consideration. The Talent Acquisition Specialist makes job offers and coordinates the recruiting and pre-employment process by scheduling appointments and interviews with the hiring manager, submitting and reviewing applicant background checks, pre-employment physicals and drug screens, communicating the conditional offer of employment, and onboarding new employees as needed.
