About The Position

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the primary purpose of your job position is to develop and execute recruiting plans, sourcing and securing talent acquisition for vacant positions, as well as administrative duties and recordkeeping. Requirements

  • A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the following knowledge and skills:
  • Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Two (2) years recruiting experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail, efficient in time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills including the MS Office applications, using HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems required
  • Customer service focus
  • Requires ability to relate and be respectful to a wide variety of people and provide superior customer service to all including employees, residents, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors.
  • Must wear employee badge at all times while on-the-job.
  • Must report to work on time and adhere to attendance policy.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding information about Employees, Resident, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • May be required to work evenings or weekends to attend recruiting events, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and action plans.
  • Represent Friendly Senior Living brand at off-site recruitment and networking events.
  • Coordinate college recruiting initiatives; develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.
  • Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the organization before and after career fairs.
  • May be responsible for working with temporarily employment agencies
  • Pre-screen potential applicants, presenting to hiring manager for consideration, including scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with department heads to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build networks to find qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Reviews job descriptions prior to posting; making recommendations for updates.
  • Post position vacancies through website, digital media, and print media
  • Adheres to the budget process and meets departmental budget.
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System Applicant Tracking System
  • Performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Prepare and send rejection letters.
  • Prepare and present offer packages
  • Prepare and present new employee orientation as needed
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.
