About The Position

Benjamin Franklin Charter School is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Human Resources Department at our Central Office in Gilbert. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, team-oriented attitude while being able to work independently in a busy HR setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full cycle recruitment for all open positions within the organization
  • Proactively source and identify talent using resources including the applicant tracking system, social media, job boards, career fairs and local community network events
  • Using standardized screening techniques, assess the skills, qualifications and experience from the candidate’s resumes in the TA module
  • Schedule and preform pre-screening interviews
  • Make employment offers, including salary, benefits, hours, etc.
  • Send offer letters and/or contracts to candidate’s to be hired and maintain correspondence with others as needed
  • Ensure proper onboarding for new hires, including that all necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
  • Completes pre-employment background checks and guides new hires through the process of obtaining an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Maintain compliance by staying aware of company guidelines, policies and procedures, and hiring regulations
  • Provide prompt feedback to hiring managers about details regarding applications, offers and onboardings
  • Communicate regularly with hiring managers to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and organizational goals
  • Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
  • Be a resource for current employees and foster long-term professional relationships with past and present applicants
  • Manage career fair registrations, planning and attendance (including travel arrangements as needed)
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at internal and external company events
  • Other duties as assigned
