About The Position

Afni Talent Acquisition Specialists are responsible for assisting the assigned internal business partners in filling their staffing needs. They do this by understanding the staffing needs of their assigned business area and identifying, interviewing, and hiring qualified individuals to fill those needs. Talent Acquisition Specialists work closely with Sourcing Specialists and Onboarding Specialists to ensure the process results in positive candidate experiences that reflect Afni and our employer brand. Talent Acquisition Specialists’ success is measured by meeting hiring targets, time-to-fill commitments, and 14-day retention. Position is on-site in our Tucson, AZ contact center.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment, or equivalent experience
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications and applicant tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sourcing Specialists to ensure there are enough candidates to interview, evaluate candidate experience, skills, goals, and competencies to ensure a healthy funnel, fill new hire classes, and protect an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Meet established hiring targets, time-to-fill commitments, and 14-day retention goals.
  • Complete candidate interviews with a sales approach that produces excitement about joining the Afni team. Make hiring decisions based on interview results and candidate qualifications.
  • Follow-up with candidates as needed to ensure a remarkable hiring experience.
  • Support multi-site recruitment by working with Talent Acquisition Team and candidates remotely (email, phone, SMS) as well as in-person.
  • Support Talent Acquisition program development and identify recommendations to continuously improve the recruitment processes and the tools used to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide support during the onboarding process
  • Proactively create action plans when progress in filling roles is lacking and ensure Talent Acquisition leadership and business partners have a clear understanding of mitigation plans.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with Afni policies and federal and state guidelines. Properly document and maintain records.
  • Assist Onboarding team to welcome new employees and engage with them through the initial day 1 onboarding (escort to the training room, introduce them to Afni leadership, introduce them to Trainer, answer questions, etc.)
  • Ensure that the new employee’s experience on day 1 is “best in class” by working with Training, Operations, and Human Resources to develop a standard onboarding procedure that evaluates and measures the success of the new hire onboarding experience.
  • Provide general support to the Background Specialists regarding background processes, including background checks and drug testing.
  • Partner with Training, HR, and the IT Helpdesk as needed to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for new hires to day 1 of training.
  • Facilitates accurate completion and timely submission of USCIS I9 Forms
  • Properly manage requisitions
  • Terminating employees that did not start
  • Complete final status changes
  • Sign-in sheet sent to business partners
  • Update new hire reports and trackers as needed.
